GoYellow goes an GelbeSeiten! Managementversagen?

Wie wir bereits am 31. August berichteten, “erzwangen” die GelbenSeiten mehr oder weniger eine Übernahme von GoYellow. In Anbetracht der Abermillionen, die in GoYellow und aberwitzige PR-Kampagnen u.a. mit Paris Hilton geflossen sind  - erscheinen die 5,5 Mio. EUR geradezu wie eine Frechheit oder?

Interessant ist auch, wie die GelbenSeiten Ihre monopolartige Stellung in Zeiten von Google & Co. trotzdem noch zu halten versuchen. Es bleibt abzuwarten, wie sie mit anderen Mitbewerbern umgehen werden. Auch erscheint ein strategisches Managementversagen auf Seiten von 118000 vorgelegen zu haben, einen derart riskanten Kooperationsvertrag mit den GelbenSeiten einzugehen. Es wird spannend, was da kritische Aktionärsvertreter zu sagen werden.

KG, Hannover, and its wholly-owned subsidiary V2 Online  Betreibergesellschaft mbH. The buyers are backed by the 16 GelbeSeiten  publishers, which have held a  ten-percent stake in GoYellow GmbH since  2007 and maintained a sales cooperation with GoYellow GmbH since that time.  This sales cooperation will continue until the end of 2011. The takeover of  GoYellow’s operating business will take place in January 2012. The  transac-tion has a total volume of EUR 5.5 million.  The sales is 118000 AG’s preferred result of lengthy negotiations between  the company and the publishers to secure the existence of the GoYellow.de  business portal. At the same time, the deal provides 118000 AG with  sufficient financial means to further estab-lish the 118000 connection  service and the cost saving telephone services PeterZahlt and CheapCalls in  the market.
